Daniel Gilbert - Borderline

This is a really nice song from Daniel Gilbert. The song have previously been released under the name of "Evert Taube" by Håkan Hellström, then with swedish lyrics. This is the English version. Daniel Gilbert is one of the guitarists in Håkan Hellström´s band, so i don´t know if he wrote the song or Håkan did it. But anyway, its a really nice song and you should check it out.

Kakkmaddafakka - Is She

Great song from a great band. Kakkmaddafakka is a Norwegian group from Bergen. This is my favourite song from them.

Marit Larsen - If A Song Could Get Me You

More pop today. Marit Larsen is one of the most famous norwegian pop artists, she used to play in the band M2M when she was younger, but have now moved into a more serious direction, and is making really great music.

Hello Saferide - Anna

Hello Saferide is a swedish popband, which have released two albums; "Introducing Hello Saferide" and "More Modern Short Stories from Hello Saferide". The songwriter and frontfigure of the band is Annika Norlin, who also has another project called Säkert! which is very similar to Hello Saferide, but with swedish lyrics.

Norlin used to be a musical journalist but nowadays i think she is working fulltime on her two musical projects.

"Anna" is one of my favourite Hello Saferide songs, really sad but also very beautiful.

Sophie Zelmani - If I Could

I have quite a soft spot for singer-songwriters, and there are a lot of great singer-songwriters in scandinavia, especially from Sweden, and Sophie Zelmani is definitely one of them!

I really dont know much about her, but after i heard "If I Could" i cant get this song off my mind, and im sure you will enjoy it too.

Chords - No Time Like The Present

Chords is a rapper from Lund in Sweden. In addition to his solo project Chords he has featured on a lot of stuff from Timbuktu, and Looptroop/Promoe, which is some of the biggest rappers from Sweden. For instance, he has a featuring on Magic by Looptroop, which i have previously posted. He also has a project called Helt Off, which is a reggaeband, together with Timbuktu and M.O.N.S.

Anyway, Chords is one of the most underrated rappers i know of, and have fallen into the shadow of Timbuktu, Looptroop and some of the other big swedish rappers. He can both rap and sing really well, and have released two great albums; "Garden Around The Mansion" and "Things We Do For Things".

I will probably come up with more stuff from Chords or his other projects later, but right now you should listen to "No Time Like The Present" from the "Things We Do For Things" album. Enjoy!
